BTS’s Jin Lights Up Paris as Olympic Torchbearer and Paris
In the heart of Paris, BTS member Jin appeared with a radiant smile, capturing the attention of fans and onlookers alike. The Olympic flame had arrived in Paris, and Jin was selected as one of the torchbearers on its first day, traversing iconic landmarks of the city.
All about ARMY and Jin
The announcement of Jin’s torch relay in front of the Louvre Museum drew a massive crowd of ARMY, BTS’s dedicated fanbase, from all over the world. The fans enthusiastically chanted Jin’s real name, “Kim Seokjin,” (김석진) and displayed heartfelt messages in Korean, such as “Run Jin” and “Jin” written on purple hearts. It was not uncommon to see international fans waving the Korean flag.
As Jin took up the torch, he greeted the crowd with a smile at every step. Under the watchful eyes of local police, he safely carried the Olympic flame for approximately 200 meters before passing it on to the next torchbearer.
Expressing his gratitude, Jin said, “I feel incredibly honored and I want to sincerely thank our ARMY and fans who made it possible for me to be a torchbearer.” His presence lit up the event, and he conveyed a message of encouragement, hoping that every athlete competing in the Olympics would achieve great results through their hard work.
Jin’s participation in the torch relay not only highlighted his global influence but also underscored the unity and support of his fans worldwide. As the Olympics approach, his involvement has added a touch of excitement and inspiration to the festivities in Paris.
