Korean Listening Practice : Gyeongbokgung

This is the full script of the YouTube video clip of ‘How to Get to Gyeongbokgung‘.

Hello! Today, I will introduce you to how to get to Gyeongbokgung and some interesting information about it. So, shall we get started?

Gyeongbokgung : 경복궁

English Version

First, to get to Gyeongbokgung, you need to take subway line 3.

Then, get off at Gyeongbokgung Station.

After getting off, if you exit through exit 5, Gyeongbokgung is nearby.

Gyeongbokgung is the first palace of the Joseon Dynasty, built in 1395.

It beautifully showcases traditional Korean architectural style and was the residence of the king and queen.

Inside Gyeongbokgung, you can find Gyeonghoeru and Geunjeongjeon.

It features beautiful gardens and ponds, making it a popular spot for tourists.

It’s also a place where many tourists take photos while wearing hanbok.

And, there is a changing of the guard ceremony at 10 AM and 11 AM, which is spectacular. You can see scenes you might have watched in Korean dramas.
