Having previously lived the life of a rehabilitation doctor of the same age on ‘Infinite Challenge – Someone Else’s Life’, Park Myung-soo now immerses himself in the life of 35-year-old Wootie, a family man and som tam vendor, in ‘My Name is Gabriel’. As he meets his new family at the airport, including his wife and baby daughter, Park gradually adapts to Wootie’s life. The scenes where he bonds with his new family and works hard to provide for them resonate deeply with viewers, highlighting the struggles and dedication of a family man.

Director Kim Tae-ho shared, “Finding real people wasn’t easy, so we considered creating fictional characters. However, we persisted in finding real individuals until the end. During filming, we realized that real-life stories are often more dramatic than scripted ones. There are many unexpected twists in their lives that surpass our planned narratives.”
