It’s a famous path used to go to Samcheong-dong and also appears in the drama “Our Beloved Summer”.
“Gahmgodang” refers to the personal residence of Queen Inhyeon. The site where the Dukseong Girls’ High School is built is known as “The site of Gahmgodang”. This historical significance is why the road is called Gahmgodang-gil. The road leading to Insadong and Samcheong-dong has roadside trees and lights, creating a very atmospheric setting. Especially, the stone walls are a popular photo zone because they make a good background for pictures.
